We the mortal souls on this earth seemingly feel that we are controlling our destiny. The truth is that the stars in the Galaxy are controlling our fate silently while being invisible from our eyes. No wonder a person chooses the best of the Muhurthas for performing all important task, still the Divine will play its role.

Today I will analyze the longevity of the coalition NDA government of India. The oath ceremony took place on 9^th of June 2024. The honorable prime minister took oath at 19:23 hours in Delhi, India. At this time the status of the Lagna and the planets were as under:

Panchanga:

Tithi:

The day Modi took oath it was Chaturthi tithi which is a Rikta (Empty) Titihi. All good work is prohibited on Rikta Tithi (I will write a separate article on importance of Tithi and their types). Thus, this is a negative.

Day:

The day was Sunday which is an auspicious day for all government related activities. Thus, this is a positive.

Nakshatra:

The Nakshatra was Punarvasu (ruled by Jupiter) which is very auspicious. Thus, this is a positive.

Karan:

The Karan was Vanij on that day. Vanij Karan is ruled by Venus and lorded by Mahalaxmi, which is auspicious. Thus, this is a positive.

Yoga:

The Yoga was Dhruv on that day. This yoga indicates calmness and lack of aggression so this is negative and indicates BJP’s chances of going on back foot in the coalition.

So overall the Panchanga is average not very great.

Lagna and the Lagna Lord Analysis:

As it is said basics are beautiful, we will stick to the basics in analyzing above chart. First comes the Lagna or the ascendant or the first house. There is no planet in the Lagna but it is under the direct aspect of Sun (10^th Lord –Positive), Mercury (8^th and 11^th Lord –Negative), Jupiter (2^nd and 5^th Lord –Positive) and Venus (7^th and 12^th Lord –Negative). Thus it is 50 – 50, two positives and two negatives.

Saturn from the 4^th house is aspecting both the Lagna and the Lagna Lord Mars with its 10^th and 3^rd aspect respectively. Saturn being the enemy of Mars this is not good.

Mars is aspecting the Lagna with its third aspect which is very good as Lagna Lord aspects the Lagna.

Lagna is under the influence of Rahu and Moon as both are in trine position to the Lagna. Association of Rahu with Lagna is negative and also association of Moon with Lagna is bad as Moon is Baadhkesh –Lord of Ninth house in Scorpio ascendant.

Thus in all we have 3 positives and 5 negatives overall.

When is the turmoil expected?

In June 2027 which is approximately after 3 years Saturn would enter Aries and will pass over Mars (as per above chart) causing turmoil in the NDA government and may lead to fall in government.
