Weak Mercury? Let the world do remedy for you!

Do you have weak Mercury in your birth chart? Well, you may ask a counter question -How do we know if Mercury is weak?

So, my friends, there are many easy ways to figure out if the Mercury is weak. One would experience deficiencies in all the significations of Mercury if the Mercury is weak in birth chart. Mercury signifies business, speech, intellect, communication both oral and written, sisters, daughters, aunties (both paternal and maternal), green plantation, birds, goats, trees with broad leaves, etc. Thus, if your business is not steady, you are finding it difficult to communicate, your language is abusive, your sisters, daughters and aunties are in poor state, birds kept as pet are not surviving then we can easily conclude that your mercury is weak.

This weak Mercury is reflected in the birth chart by its placement in the 12th house. Mercury is debilitated in the sign of Pisces. Mercury is weak if it is in its enemy nakshatras like – Punarvasu, Vishaakha and Purva Bhadrapada (Jupiter Nakshatras) or in Mrigshira, Chitra or Dhanishtha (Mars Nakshatras) or in Rohini, Hasta and Shravan (Moon Nakshatras). Mercury is also weak if Venus is behind it in the birth chart. Mercury is also considered weak if Mercury is hemmed between its enemies -Jupiter and Mars. Mercury is also weak if it gets aspect of Jupiter or Mars.

You can also easily check the strength of your mercury by simply looking at your palm. If the little finger is lying low and not crossing the middle phalange of its adjacent ring finger then Mercury is weak.

Now, that we know Mercury is weak, let us come to the remedial part.

Copper pot (Lota) -picture given above, represents the emptiness of Mercury. People with weak Mercury feel direction less and tend to spend their days aimlessly doing nothing and wasting their time. One can donate Copper pot (Lota) in a Shiva temple. This vessel would be used by the devotees visiting the Shiva temple to pour water over Shiva Linga and do Jal Abhishek using the vessel which you donated. Every time they use the vessel donated by you; you would get the blessings of Shiva which would improve your Mercury. Thus, for you it is a one-time activity but you would reap the benefits over a long period of time. Copper represents Sun, Mercury is the deputy of Sun. Hence Copper Pot represents both Sun and Mercury. Sun and Mercury is good combination and results in Budh-Aditya Yoga. Now, you may ask what is the quantity of such vessel to be donated. There is a concept of Tula Daan (donation equivalent to one’s weight) in Sanatan Sanskriti. So, if your weight is 99 Kilograms, then you should donate 11 copper pots every Monday for 9 Mondays. Donation can be little more but not less. In case of any doubts or questions you can post your questions below in the comments section.
