Rooho Ne Likhi Kismat Ki Kitab (Book written by angels). It is believed that the angels guided Pandit Roop Chand Joshi in writing this divine book. Lal Kitab is a poetic verse on astrology originally written in Urdu and later translated in Hindi. The original author is not known. Pandit Roop Chand Joshi from Pharwala village in Punjab, India, has authored the presently available five set of books named after their year of publication. Lal Kitab is unique in the sense that it precisely co-relates the yoga in a person’s life with the lines on the palm of a person’s hand. In a way it can be called as a book on Astro-Palmistry. The knowledge of Astrology is believed to be of Rahu. Rahu is termed as Elephant in Astrology and is controlled by a Mahout (caretaker of Elephant) which is Mars. Hence this book has a cover of Red (that’s why the name Lal Kitab) as Rahu is always controlled by Mars. It is said that Lal Kitab has Duniyavi Hisaab Kitab (the ledger book of one’s life). This book is known for its accurate predictions and easy remedies which are not very expensive. In today’s age the followers of Lal Kitab are increasing by leaps and bounds.
