His movies got 46 Academy awards nominations and won 6 of those. His style includes use of camera movement to mimic a person’s gaze and framing shots to maximize fear and anxiety. He had many successful movies, to name a few, Rebecca (1940), Foreign Correspondent (1940), Suspicion (1941), Shadow of Doubt (1943), Lifeboat (1944), Spellbound (1945) and Notorious (1946). Towards the end of his life, he was working on the script for a spy thriller. This movie was never released due to the deteriorating health of Hitchcock.  Now, let us look at his chart to understand what made him such a great showman.
