As we all know the last Solar Eclipse of the Year 2020 is happening on the 14^th December 2020 in the sign of Scorpio at 28 Degrees and 59 minutes in Jyestha Nakshatra. This would not be visible in India as it will start from 7pm to Zero Hours and 22 Minutes. That doesn’t mean it will not affect India and residents of India. It will definitely have an impact on India and resident of India as it is a celestial event and is not dependent on visibility for its impact.

The eclipse is happening in the Taurus – Scorpio axis. In the Kaap Purush Kundali (with Aries Ascendant), scorpio sign falls in the 8^th house. Thus, the world would witness water related calamities like floods, Tsunamis, draughts as Scorpio sign is water element. 8^th house also signifies misfortune and sudden events. Hence, this solar eclipse will bring to the fore sudden events, wars, earthquakes and other catastrophes. If you would have notices this Solar Eclipse is happening in the Gandant area. For those of you who don’t know what Gandant is – Gandant is that point of the zodiac where a water element meets fire element. If you notice, eclipse is happening at 28 Degrees and 59 minutes in the fag end of sign of Scorpio (Water element) or at the cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius (Fire element). Thus, as you all know when water meets fire it gives rise to steam. The world would witness lot of smoke related problem resulting out of Jungle fire or any such similar activity. The effect of the eclipse remains till the next eclipse occurs. The Next Solar eclipse is on 10^th June 2021. Hence the effect would last for coming six months.

In general, when we talk about eclipse what we mean is release of energy. Now, let’s discuss effect on individual beings. If Mars, in your birth chart, is not placed in 6^th , 8^th or 12^th position from the sign of Scorpio then you need not be worried as the eclipse will not give you adverse effect. To cite an example, if you are Leo ascendant then Scorpio sing will fall in your 4^th house and Mars is located in your 5^th house, then this Eclipse will increase your wealth and you would spend time with your family as Mars is 2^nd from Scorpio. Second house is the house of wealth and family.

Continuing with the same example of Leo ascendant, if Mars is in the third house in the sign of Libra. In this case it is 12^th from the sign of Scorpio (4^th house), then this will give you expenditure related to short travels, hospital expenses to be incurred for siblings. This is because 12^th house is the house of expenses and 3^rd house is the house of short travels and siblings.

For those with Mars in their birth chart placed in 6^th, 8^th or 12^th position from the sign of Scorpio, please do not panic.
